“It is a truism that for many today who find themselves in dispute that the cost and micro-managed solutions of traditional routes are - if not completely prohibitive - certainly unattractive. How much better if the solution to that same dispute could be found in a process that lasted as little as a day, in a location of choice and which came at a pre agreed cost for the parties?”

With the formation of Wyeth Thomas Mediation a collegiate group of experienced, respected and like-minded professionals have come together to offer the public who find themselves in such disputes an alternative process and philosophy. Jo and I are happy to explain what WTM offers and why it may be the answer you have been looking for.

By way of background, Mark has in the course of his professional life founded successful Barrister’s chambers, written ADR schemes for industry bodies, practised as a dual-capacity barrister/solicitor, chaired professional regulatory bodies and produced commissioned reports on charitable trust governance and this mass of practical experience is brought to his mediation work.

In all this work, Mark’s operating philosophy has been and in the formation of WTM remains the securing of a just outcome with the least cost and frustration in the process for the respective parties.

It is our aspiration at WTM to extend the mediation solution into a number of new areas that traditional routes seem not to be well suited to.
